The workflow, free access, and the role of AI. With clear boundaries.

The product and the journey

Where do I start?

From the Reader: upload a document or open an act available in the catalog, explore text and cross-references, then define the scope for the Assessment. The Build path starts from accepted mappings, not from an unverified AI draft.

Which documents can I use?

Norma reads text-based PDFs and HTML pages, or acts from the integrated sources (EUR-Lex, eCFR and others). Scans are not read: Norma does not run OCR. Check tables and complex layouts against the original document; the catalog does not mean every act is available.

Does the Test Book execute or certify tests?

The Test Book prepares and organizes SIT/UAT cases with links to approved revisions. Signing approves the document; it does not certify case execution and is not equivalent to a certificate of compliance.

Access and participation

Is access free?

Yes. During this launch phase, registration gives you free access to all Norma modules and features, with no payment or plan selection. Access has no trial expiry.

How do pages and AI work?

Each workspace includes 2,000 parsing pages per month. AI generations and requests are included, with no monthly quota; each request has a text-length limit. Reader, Assessment, delivery, collaboration and integrations are included; external tool connections require their own configuration.

How do we collaborate in Norma?

Chat, groups and direct messages are included in free access. Workspace roles determine who can view, edit and approve work.

Who can read and participate in the Community?

The Community is publicly readable. A free account lets you post questions, answers and comments under a pseudonym. Contributions remain professional opinions and do not represent an official position.

AI, sources, and outputs

How do AI summaries and Norma Ask help?

Operational summaries of articles open at the reading point and remain distinct from the official text. Norma Ask answers based on the open document, with references to provisions to be verified in Reader. Available context may be partial on long documents: comprehensive coverage of the act should not be assumed. Summaries and answers support professional analysis and interpretation; they do not constitute legal advice. Mappings and artifacts require human review prior to approval.

Can I upload confidential documents?

AI features may send content to third-party providers. Before uploading confidential documents, review the privacy policy, providers, and your organization’s policies. Consult the privacy policy before using confidential data.

Does Norma connect to Jira and GitHub?

The Integration Hub is included in free access. From the test cases of a released Test Book you create issues in Jira or GitHub, after checking the preview. The connection is being activated: today you prepare the connection, destination and mappings.
